  1. CoverageBook is committed to the highest standards of ethics and honesty in its business activities, and we operate a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. The giving and receiving of bribes, and any other form of corrupt payment is unacceptable. This Policy sets out how we and our staff operate.

  2. We will always conduct our business in an ethical manner, and we expect anyone working for us or with us to operate with the utmost honesty and integrity.

  3. We require our staff to use their best endeavours to prevent, detect and report any bribery and other forms of corruption that they become aware of.

  4. CoverageBook does not tolerate behaviour that may contravene the Bribery Act 2010 or related legislation, including:

    1. Customers or suppliers giving or receiving improper financial or other advantages whether directly or indirectly;

    2. Any conduct that could affect or appear to affect or influence an individual’s conduct in the course of their professional or public duty.

  5. Gifts and hospitality can form part of normal business relationships with Customers or suppliers, if it is proportionate, appropriate and has a genuine business purpose. However, it must never affect or appear to affect impartial decision making or conduct.

  6. To avoid potential conflicts of interest, we discourage the giving or receiving of gifts or hospitality by our staff.

  7. Free Trials: We may only offer free trials of CoverageBook or other free Services if they are offered solely for the purpose of making genuine business decisions. We will not use the offer of free Services to entice Customers or others to purchase a product or enter or renew a contract.

  8. We will never make, offer, solicit or encourage facilitation payments under any circumstances. These are transactions, such as small cash payments to officials to gain an advantage.

  9. Tax evasion and the facilitation of tax evasion in all forms is a criminal offence. We will not tolerate behaviour that facilitates anyone evading their tax obligations or conceal or turn a blind eye to tax evasion. We are committed to reporting any such activity of which it becomes aware.

  10. We keep robust financial records and have appropriate internal controls in place evidencing the business reason for giving and/or receiving payments from/to third parties.

  11. If you are ever in doubt about a situation and are concerned about a possible breach of this Policy or have concerns about bribery or corruption in connection with CoverageBook, please let us know immediately.
