Our shareable folders feature allows you to create and share a single, easy to access live link to all of the books inside a folder with your clients or stakeholders!

Any books you include or create inside a shared folder will be instantly accessible. As with our single book live share links, any updates or edits you make to a book inside a shared folder will update in real time so your clients will always see the latest version when they open the link!

How to share a link to a folder

When you create a new folder, it will be internal-only by default. Internal folders can only be viewed by logged in users on your account. Any books you create in an internal folder can still be shared one by one by using each book's live share link.

You can also choose to share a link to a folder of books. This is a great option for sharing all your monthly reports in one link, or, perhaps for a project or event. You can create share links for any folder in your account.

To share a folder, click on the 'share folder' option or click on the 'internal folder' drop down (click on create a share link).

Next, click on the create public share link button. Anyone you share this link with can access the folder of books, but only in read-only versions and they won't be able to edit anything. Only logged in users on your account have editing access.

Just copy the share URL and send it to give access to the folder!

You'll now see a 'shared folder' icon so you know which folders are currently being shared. Anyone who has the link to the folder can view it.

Can I stop sharing a folder?

Yes, you can stop sharing a folder any time. Click on the 'shared' drop down and click on 'manage', or hit the share button in the top right.

Click on the stop sharing option in the bottom left corner and confirm. The folder share link will no longer be viewable. However, any individual share links to books will still work as normal.

You'll see a confirmation message that the folder is no longer being shared.

Can I remove a book from a folder?

Click on the menu below a book inside a folder and you can remove it, or move it to another folder. Once you take a book out of a shared folder it will no longer be visible in that folder.

Can I remove access to a book after its been shared?

To remove access to a single book's share click here to view our guide on this.
