When you're viewing an Instagram Story, grab the URL directly from your address bar and you can upload it as Online Coverage!
We'll grab details about the account, like the logo and account name, plus the number of followers the account has.
We'll also collect an image or playable video of the story.
In addition to individual Stories, you can also upload the account's main stories URL and we'll collect the most recent stories they've posted!
Eg a link like this - https://www.instagram.com/stories/coveragebook
I've uploaded a Story URL but I'm not seeing an image
Stories can be temporary and set to last just 24 hours. If you upload a URL of a Story that's already expired, we won't be able to get an image of it. But, we should still be able to collect the Instagram account details and followers.
You might see something like this image below, or a "this story is unavailable, to see the account's latest stories, login to your Instagram account" message.
This will likely mean that the Story is no longer active, or, the account has privacy settings to only share to a certain audience.
Can I add my own image of the Story?
If you do have a saved image of the story you can add it to the clip. Click on the add/edit media button above the screenshot.
Next, click the + add image button on the left, add your own, and you can now delete the other image from the clip.
For more info on adding extra images to clips check out our guide on that here.
