Or perhaps it's in an e-calendar site or frequently refreshed homepage or article, you can now make a copy of the original coverage to edit the screenshots each time you want to include the URL in another report, or in the same report.
Here are a few examples of how you can copy coverage.
How can I include the same coverage URL more than once in a report?
If you already have a clip in a report and want to add the same item to a different Section, you can make a copy of the clip and move it to the new location in your report.
First, find the clip you want to copy. If you can't find it, you can search for it using the Coverage Vault here.
Then, click on the copy icon in the top right corner of the clip (if you're viewing the clip fullscreen you can use the 3 dots menu in the top right to make a copy).
The copied clip will appear to the right of the original. Select the clip and you can now move it to another location in your report.
I have more than one client featured in the same article, how do I show a different mention for each client?
You might have a best of article that features multiple clients, and you want to pick out their different mentions in your reports.
To do this, make a copy of the clip you want to edit separately (if you're viewing the clip fullscreen you can use the 3 dots menu in the top right to make a copy).
The copied clip will appear to the right or the original. This is a new version you can make different edits to. You can now delete the original version of the clip from the report and keep the duplicate.
You can now click into the clip and make any edits to the title, metrics, or set a new focus point to pick out your client's mention without it affecting the original clip.
How do I add coverage featured on a homepage, or events listing that updates its content regularly?
CoverageBook captures a snapshot of the page when it's uploaded to a report, and we'll save that original version in your account. But if the page changes regularly it's possible to make a copy of the original clip, and update the copy to show the current version of the page.
To do this, first make a copy of the original coverage item in your report (if you're viewing the clip fullscreen you can use the 3 dots menu in the top right to make a copy).
The copied clip will save to the right. You can delete the original if its not needed.
Next, click to open the full view of the clip and you can generate a new automated screenshot using the 'Take a new screenshot' button.
We'll update the screenshot to the latest version of the page, and you can also edit any other data on the clip.
