Yes! There's two tiers of data within CoverageBook. An outlet is the main publisher's profile. Any changes you make to the outlet's profile will update any future clips you import to the outlet. For example you can update a print publication's circulation and we'll use that updated number for all your new imports.

But, there may be occasions where you just want to make a quick edit to one clip in a report without it updating other clips from the same outlet.

You can do this from the individual clip edit page.

Perhaps to edit the title or description, or you want to set your own outlet metrics just for this piece of coverage.

Click on any of the 'edit' buttons when you're working in a report and you can change the text, logo and data fields just for this clip.

Note - any changes you make to a clip will update across all the books that you have used the same clip in.

You can also access the clip edit page from the Coverage Vault and Outlets pages. Just click on the clip to make any single edits.

From the Coverage Vault, you can search for it and click on the clip to edit it.

And in the outlets management page, you can search for the outlet and will see all the clips in it below. Click on any clip to make single edits.

If you make any edits to clips, you'll see an orange dot to show data has been edited.

How can I see which books my clip has been used in?

The Coverage Vault shows all the clips you've added to your account. If you search for a piece of coverage and click to open its edit page, we'll show you a list of all the books this piece of coverage have been used in.

You can also see the number of books a clip has been used in when viewing the outlet profile. You'll see a books number to the right of the clips under the outlet.

If you have a clip in multiple books and just want to make an edit to a single clip, we have a copy feature that'll allow you to make edits without affecting other books the clip is in.
