Yes! There's two tiers of data within CoverageBook. An outlet is the main publisher's profile. Any changes you make to the outlet's profile will update any future clips you import to the outlet. For example you can update a print publication's circulation and we'll use that updated number for all your new imports.

But, there may be occasions where you just want to make a quick edit to one clip in a report without it updating other clips from the same media outlet.

If you'd like to edit the outlet title or description, or you want to set your own outlet metrics just for this clip, you can do that from the clip edit page.

Click on any of the 'edit' buttons when you're working in a report and you can change any of the information just for this clip in your account.

Note - any changes you make to a clip will update across all the reports that you have used the same clip in.

You can also access the clip edit page from the Coverage Vault and Outlets pages. Just click on the clip to make any single edits.

From the Coverage Vault, you can search for it and click on the clip to edit it.

And in the outlets management page, you can search for the media outlet or publisher and you'll see all the clips for that outlet below. Click on any clip to make single edits.

If you make any edits to clips, you'll see an orange dot to show data has been edited.

How can I see which reports my clip has been used in?

The Coverage Vault shows all the clips you've added to your account. If you search for a piece of coverage and click to open its edit page, we'll show you a list of all the reports this piece of coverage have been used in.

You can also see the number of reports a clip has been used in when viewing the outlet profile. You'll see a reports number to the right of the clips under the outlet.

If you have a clip in multiple reports and just want to make an edit to a single clip, we have a copy feature that'll allow you to make edits without affecting other reports the clip is in.
