Our folder feature includes a dedicated folders index page, plus a new look home view where your team users can pin their favourite folders. Everyone on your team can customise which folders they pin to their workspace, so it's unique to you!

In this FAQ we'll cover creating new folders, the folder index page, and how to pin folders.

How to create a new folder

You can create folders to organise and store all your reports. This could be for each of your clients, brands, months, regions... However you like.

Using folders to organise your reports really helps you to find them later when you want to make Summaries etc. You can also share an entire folder in one handy, read only live share link!

From the Reports or Folders pages click on the 'new' links to create a new folder.

Name your new folder, and click save.

The Reports homepage

We'll show the most recently updated reports first on your reports homepage so you can quickly access the reports you're working on now.

Your folders will also show in a scrolling list on the left hand side. If you have a lot of folders, you can use CMD+F or CTRL+F to quickly find them. You can also click on the Folders link in the main menu bar to access an A-Z list of all your folders.

And there's a 'View folders index' link at the bottom of your homepage:

The Folders Index

All your folders are listed in A-Z order. Click into a folder to view and access the reports saved to it.

How to pin your favourite folders

You can pin up to 60 folders to your pinned list, so all your most used folders are always on hand for you to access.

Pinning folders is unique to you, so each member of your team can pin their own favourite folders and have those accessible when you login to your CoverageBook account.

You can pin and unpin a folder by clicking on the pin icon in the main reports homepage, the A-Z folders index and when you're inside a folder.

You'll see any pinned folders appear at the top of your list:

You can also hit the pin icon when you're inside a folder or on the Folder index page!

When pinning folders you can customise the order. The first folder you pin will go at the top of your list, and so on for any more pinned folders you add.
