If you have any other types of coverage that aren't an online web article URL or social media post, you can upload this content as a file, so you can include your broadcast, radio or other coverage hits in your reports.

The main difference between online content and uploading files is that we don't currently pull any offline media metrics automatically, but you can add in your own data to include total numbers in your reporting. We'll cover everything in this guide.

If you're uploading images as PDFs, JPGs or PNGs they are free to add and won't count towards your usage limits

What file formats do you support?

You can add up to 50 files at a time. Each file must be under 250MB and lower than 50 megapixels.

  • MP4, MOV and WMV for video

  • MP3 for audio

  • PDF, JPG and PNG for images

Some content like Instagram Stories and Facebook Reels aren't possible to upload as a URL, but you can add this content as a file. We have more info on this here.

How to upload files and add your own metrics

We'll cover three steps to getting your content added

  1. Upload your content to a report

  2. Assign each clip to its outlet profile

  3. Add in your own data like audiences and other metrics

Upload your content to a report

Click on the + add coverage button and select upload coverage files.

Next, add your files (drag and drop them or select from your folders). Click Next when you're done.

You can also add PDF files with multiple pages. You can choose to upload the file as one clip, or break up the pages of the PDF into separate clips

Next, choose which Section of your report you want to add the files to, or create a new Section for them. Click to import when done!

Assign your clips to an Outlet profile

After you've uploaded some files, you can save them to an outlet profile or create one if you've not added content from the publisher before. Adding files to their outlet is a great way to present your coverage and include the outlet name, logo, and their audience and other metrics.

Click on the add outlet area above the clip image.

Next, search for the outlet as it may already have been added to your account before.

Choose the outlet and we'll show you a preview of its details. If everything's correct you can save the clip to this existing outlet.

If you don't see your outlet, click out of the search bar and you can create a new one.

Select the type of outlet (print, radio etc) and fill in the details, adding a logo if you like. Add in the outlet's audience if you have this data available (circulation, TV audience etc). Hit save and we'll setup this outlet for you to use in the future.

If you use our audience field when adding files to an outlet, we'll total up all the numbers for you in the main audience card for the report's summary page

Can I setup all my regular outlet profiles for my team?

Yes, if you head to the Outlets area in the Coverage tab, you can create new outlets from your media lists for your team to add their clips to. Here's how.
